"I keep it pretty basic. Green veggies are good, lean protein is good, and if I'm really craving something sweet, I go for fruit instead of a baked good. I think that's what I like best. I'm not on a diet, and I don't feel bad or guilty when I choose to indulge. I limit portions, and if I still feel hungry after I'm done, I'll drink a full glass of water and wait. As the pregnancy progressed, I did have to modify my workouts, and I still gained weight, but I put in the hours at the gym. I even took a Zumba class the day before my daughter was born! My labor was much faster and easier than the first time, which I think is because I was in such great shape. After the birth, I took 6 weeks off from exercise, but I was chomping at the bit to get back into the gym. When I was cleared to go back, I jumped right in.
