Amy Schumer is Redefining "Fire Crotch" in This Photo Shoot for Vanity Fair
Whether she's posing for the cover of Entertainment Weekly or getting sexy on screen for her movie Trainwreck, Amy Schumer is very comfortable with being naked. Amy's got a banging body and she's not afraid to show it — but in her latest photo shoot for Vanity Fair, the actress, comedian, writer, and producer is taking her love of nudity to the next level.
Shot by Annie Liebovitz, in one photo, Amy poses for the cover shoot in a "No Coffee, No Workee" t-shirt, without a scrap of underwear in sight. Instead of undergarments, the star's vaginal area isliterally on fire — according to Vanity Fair, bringing "new meaning to 'it's lit.'"
"I begged Annie to photograph me with no underwear on in just a t-shirt," Schumer tells Vanity Fair in the interview. "I explained to her how important it was to me and she finally agreed. I felt powerful and beautiful. She understood once we shot it. Or maybe she ran to the bathroom to throw up. It was one of the most meaningful moments of my life."
Of course, this isn't the first time that Annie has shot Amy naked: She also posed for the legendary photographer for the Pirelli calendar last year. Nonetheless, it's awesome to see such a perfect celebration of this smart, beautiful, sexy, and hilarious woman — and even more amazing to know that Annie Liebovitz's photo made the star feel so empowered.
